To become a Direct Seller, existing Direct Seller should introduce an individual. He should have valid ID proof, address proof and PAN card number. He should register himself with company and sign an agreement if he is willing to further sell the products. There are no entry charges/registration fees or compulsory purchase of any sales promotional material for being a direct seller. He should not be convicted of any criminal offence punishable with imprisonment in last 5 years. Along with the above-mentioned process, every Direct Seller has to abide by below given guidelines issued by Ministry of Consumer Affairs

Clause 5: Certain obligations of Direct Sellers
  • Direct Seller engaged in direct selling should carry their identity card and not visit the customer’s premises without prior appointment/approval
  • At the initiation of a sales representation, without request, truthfully and clearly identify themselves, the identity of the direct selling entity, the nature of the goods or services sold and the purpose of the solicitation to the prospective consumer
  • Offer a prospective consumer accurate and complete explanations and demonstrations of goods and services, prices, credit terms, terms of payment, return policies, terms of guarantee, after-sales service
  • Provide the following information to the prospect / consumers at the time of sale, namely
  • Name, address, registration number or enrollment number, identity proof and telephone number of the direct seller and details of direct selling entity
  • A description of the goods or services to be supplied
  • Explain to the consumer about the goods return policy of the company in the details before the transaction
  • The Order date, the total amount to be paid by the consumer along with the bill and receipt
  • Time and place for inspection of the sample and delivery of good
  • Information of his/her rights to cancel the order and / or to return the product in saleable condition and avail full refund on sums paid
  • Details regarding the complaint redressal mechanism
  • A direct seller shall keep proper book of accounts stating the details of the products, price, tax and the quantity and such other details in respect of the goods sold by him/her, in such form as per applicable law
  • A direct seller shall not
  • Use misleading, deceptive and / or unfair trade practices
  • Use misleading, false, deceptive, and / or unfair recruiting practices, including misrepresentation of actual or potential sales or earnings and advantages of Direct Selling to any prospective direct seller, in their interaction with prospective direct sellers
  • Make any factual representation to a prospective direct seller that cannot be verified or make any promise that cannot be fulfilled
  • Present any advantages of Direct Selling to any prospective direct seller in a false and / or a deceptive manner
  • Knowingly make, omit, engage, or cause, or permit to be made, any representation relating to the Direct Selling operation, including remuneration system and agreement between the Direct Selling entity and the direct seller, or the goods and / or services being sold by such direct seller which is false and / or misleading
  • Require or encourage direct sellers recruited by the first mentioned direct seller to purchase goods and / or services in unreasonably large amounts
  • Provide any literature and / or training material not restricted to collateral issued by the Direct Selling entity, to a prospective and / or existing direct sellers both within and outside the parent Direct Selling entity, which has not been approved by the parent Direct Selling entity
  • Require prospective or existing direct sellers to purchase any literature or training materials or sales demonstration equipment

Package related Terms & Conditions

  • The Holiday Voucher entitles the Customer to a complimentary Three (3) Days / Tow (2) Nights' accommodation for 2 (Two) Adults and 2 (Two) children (up to 8 years of age) at any one of the hotels or resorts mentioned herein. Occupying the same room without an extra charge. e.g., if you check-in on 1st July, your check-out date will be 3rd July. Generally check-in & check-out timings are 12:00 noon but it can be ± 2 hours depends on hotel's policy.
  • The Customer must give Twenty-One (21) days advance notice with Three (3) destination and Three (3) optional check-in dates. Further, the Customer must maintain a minimum of seven (7) days gap between all the preferred check-in dates.
  • On receiving the Customer's duly filled printout of Request Form along-with original Trivia Holiday Voucher, the Customer shall be informed by email/sms/phone for the availability of the destination and asked to pay the Utility Charges (if required) which will be payable within five (5) days from the date of sending the confirmation for available destination.
  • After receiving information regarding the available destination and check-in date, the customer must send a demand draft (if required) of utility charges by Speed Post or through reputed courier only. Demand Draft should be in favor of Trivia Holidays, payable at its main branch. 
  • Only on receiving the Utility Charges, Trivia shall issue the Letter of Confirmation for the Hotel Accommodation in the Name of the Customer. Details of the hotel and check-in date will be mentioned therein. This Letter of Confirmation shall reach the Customer three (3) days prior to the confirmed check-ir dates. Customer shall not have the right to amend or change the date once booked and/or the Letter of Confirmation has been issued by e-mail.
  • The Customers must carry the original Letter of Confirmation and produce the same at the time of check-in at the Hotel. Failure to produce the original Letter of Confirmation shall disqualify the Customer and the Customer shall not be entitled to the complimentary stay.
  • Only duly completed and printed Request Forms along with original Holiday Voucher shall be entertained. No booking on fax, phone or email will be accepted. All bookings are subject to availability. The offer does not include the period of Long Weekend Holidays, Dussehra / Diwali holidays and 24th December to 2nd January. Please refer List of destinations to check available months to give booking dates.
  • Trivia reserves the right to alter dates & hotels, in case of non-availability.
  • No two or more Request Forms/Holiday Vouchers can be used for the same destination and/or check-in dates. The Holiday Voucher is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and non-redeemable against cash. Further, the Customer must comply with each and every term/requirement/procedure specified for redeeming the Trivia Holiday Voucher; else the Customer shall be disqualified and shall not be entitled to the benefits under this Offer.
  • In case of any misunderstanding at Hotel/Resort after issuing booking; Trivia will reserve the right to issue alternative Hotel/Resort of same facility.
  • Hotels have the right to charge for any additional facilities like additional bed, Body Massage, Steam & Sauna Bath, Telephone, Heater, Laundry & other Leisure facilities.
  • Food & Beverages taken in the hotel are to be paid directly at the hotel before check out and receive GST bill for you cashback amount.
